We’re Having Visions of the Envision

Rumors have been flying about the Buick Envision making its way to the U.S for quite a while now. Recently, Buick made an official an2016-Buick-Envision-release-date-and-pricenouncement that the Chinese-made Envision will be sold in the United States as early as this summer.

The small crossover made its first American debut at the Detroit Auto Show. It will be supplied with 252 horsepower, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine and 260 pound-feet of torque. With its hellacious engine, the Envision is also equipped with a Bose premium audio system, heated seats, IntelliLink infotainment with an 8.0-inch touchscreen display, and an automatic tailgate and 19-inch aluminum wheels. Buick’s newest is just over 15 feet long. Inside there is room for five, as well as all the cargo space you’ll need with 57.3 cubic feet and foldable back seats.2016-Buick-Envision-Shanghai-pr-f-598

While other smaller brands have done it, Buick will be the first major American automaker to sell a Chinese-made car in the United States. GM is planning first to bring over an estimated 35,000 to test the waters. Prices are predicted to be around $
30k and lower than its competitors like the Audi Q5, and Acura RDX.
