Buick and GMC Claim Four Awards

January 24, 2013

Over the last few years, Buick and GMC have proven to be very competitive in the automotive market, especially with GMC selling over 1 million of their Terrain SUV. If this wasn’t enough, they are garnering publicity by having won four awards in the State of Texas. Texas has recently named the 2013 model of the Buick Enclave as the CUV of the state. This comes after testing the new vehicles that GMC is debuting over the next year.

This is an impressive achievement for a new model, but there is still more for the manufacturer to be proud of. In the crossover unit category The Enclave also won an award for being the top full size luxury crossover unit. This is two awards for one vehicle, solidifying its place in the GM lineup.

The two other awards were issued to GMC – The 2013 Acadia won an award for Full Size crossover while the 2013 Terrain took the winning award for Mid-Size Crossover. With Texas being one of the top notch states for their demands in terms of cars, trucks, and SUVs, these awards are prestigious in GM’s eyes.

GM is making strides in rebuilding their lineup with the promise of nine new vehicles over the next twelve months. The Acadia and Enclave are two of the newest introductions and have come out of the gate winners already. Both of these vehicles offer many trims to choose from as well as features that set them apart from the rest of the crossover units in the industry.

The GMC Terrain is available for sale already with plans to release the other mentioned vehicles in the next few months.

If you are interested in learning more about these vehicles, head on down to Jessup Auto Plaza and learn more about what you can expect once these vehicles are released.
