Cadillac CTS–V Coupe

November 29, 2012

Cadillac has done it again! The unique look of the Cadillac CTS-V Coupe creates a vehicle that is reminiscent of a jungle animal just waiting to pounce on you. It features sharp angles and bevels that are aesthetically pleasing. It is a spinoff of the CTS Coupe and offers four doors.

Underneath the engine of this monstrous beast you will find a V8, 556 horsepower engine, one that is worthy of its sports car status. In addition many features come standard on the vehicle including:

  • 19” Wheels
  • High performance brakes
  • Adaptive suspension that is magnetically controlled
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Blind spot warning system
  • Headlamps with washers

All of these features are included in the base model with tons of additional features available for add-on. Bluetooth and Onstar communications are additional as are remote keyless entry, driver memory settings as well as heated front seats. Navigation system is impressive with a screen that recedes when it is not in use. It pops up out of the dash for navigational purposes and when not in use, it leaves just a titch of the screen remaining above the dash.

More impressive though are the safety features that come with the CTS-V coupe. For example, in a high speed testing, the CTS-V went from 60 to 0 in an abrupt stop in just 104 feet, making it comparable to some of the top sports cars in the world.

Its suspension keeps it firmly grounded and handling is a dream. The comfort of the vehicle is not sacrificed for the ride. Drivers get both with the CTS-V Coupe which can handle well on anything less than the smoothest roadway.
