The New 2014 Impala Debuts at the 2012 New York Auto Show

April 12, 2012

This year’s 2012 New York International Auto Show certainly turned some heads and revealed more than enough new models to go around. Included in those new models was the 2014 Chevrolet Impala. Competing with models like the Hyundai Azera, Ford Taurus and Toyota Avalon, this new stylish sedan by Chevrolet offers both a four-cylinder and 6-cylinder model for its upcoming revamp and release in 2014. You can check out the latest Chevrolet Impalas and other Chevrolet models by visiting your local Palm Springs Chevrolet dealership today, Jessup Auto Plaza.

The new 2014 Impala is scheduled to debut in early 2013, though the exact month has not been released quite yet. This model will still have the front-wheel drive, which seems to disappoint some critics that were hoping for a rear-wheel drive model, but the new model does promise buyers and critics’ one thing: exceptional fuel economy. In fact, Chevrolet has announced that their new 2014 Impala will have better fuel economy that some hybrid Chevrolet models.

Pricing for the new 2014 Chevrolet Impala has not yet been released, but makers estimate that the pricing will be available as 2012 comes closer to an end. The new Chevrolet will be the same size as the Buick LaCrosse and will have a wide grill that is similar to the Chevrolet Camaro. The 2014 model will also have 18-inch alloy wheels, projector beam headlights, LED daytime running lights and upgrades that include leather, 20-inch wheels and more. The dual cockpit design will be prominent in the 2014 model, which gives both driver and passengers’ control of climate and seat positioning on their own.  You can test drive the current Chevrolet Impala or even check out other Chevrolet models by visiting your local Palm Springs Chevrolet dealership today, Jessup Auto Plaza.
