2013 Cadillac ATS Revealed At the 2012 Detroit Auto Show

February 17, 2012

This summer, an all-new Cadillac is scheduled to hit dealerships: the ATS sedan, Cadillac’s first direct competitor with a true BMW-3 Series.  They’ve been promising it for a while, and finally, the reveal has been made at this year’s 2012 Detroit Auto Show.  The new ATS luxury sedan will seriously compete with the luxury German sedan automakers in style, technology, and power.  With jewel-like headlights that positively sparkle and taillight pipes that complement the rear integrated LED spoiler, real wood, aluminum and carbon-fiber trimming on the inside, and so much more: this is one impressive car.  Find your Cathedral City Cadillac dealer at Jessup Auto Plaza, located right in your town.

Cadillac has been reporting that their new ATS will establish a brand new reputation for a top performance sedan.  And from the looks of the 2013 ATS, this car might just have what it takes.  View the walkthrough video here.  Real leather seating on the inside with real wood trim takes it to another level, as does the CUE infotainment system with a capacitive, innovative touch-sensitive center stack featuring an 8-inch touch screen.  Every touch-sensitive button on the system is equipped with haptic feedback (vibration) so you know what and where to press.  It’s the luxury sedan you’ve always wanted, except with a Cadillac badge and a lowered price tag.  Powerful engines will be offered in different versions of the ATS, ranging from a 2.5L, 4-cylinder to a 3.6L V6.  Both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive will be available.

Cadillac is calling it’s latest ATS creation a driver-focused car.  Down to the placement of the pedals and steering wheel, it’s all about you and your comfort.  Ambient lighting has been added to the flowing dashboard, and all different interior color options will be available.  Certain versions of the ATS will also feature Magnetic Ride Control and Brembo brakes.
