Futuristic Car: Buick Envision Concept With Scissor Doors, Hybrid Power

May 12, 2011

When you hear the car names GM and Buick, a hybrid powered futuristic looking vehicle is probably something that’s far from your mind.  At Jessup Auto Plaza Banning, we know that GM is planning something big.  They’ve begun a concept that may hit car lots that include Jessup Auto Plaza Banning in the next few years, and this concept is something that resembles a science fiction vehicle.  It’s not only a completely hybrid car powered by petrol, but it carries a significantly futuristic appearance.

GM has really stepped it up in car creation and production.  On April 2011, GM revealed its Buick Envision SUV at an auto show in downtown Shanghai.  It was specifically designed for Chinese markets, but we can hope that the concept will be in America lots, including our Jessup Auto Plaza Banning area in the future years.  The flowing lines of the Envision are complemented by sharp edges and enormous 22 inch stunning alloy wheels.  It has a profile that looks like a streamlined coupe-esque.  What’s truly futuristic about this car model?  The doors are actually full length scissor doors.  They don’t just open.  Instead, they slide out and straight up, resembling wings on the front of the car when they’re open.  The grille is waterfall style, and the lights are LED with Chinese style fog light headlights as well.

The Buick Envision concept is a creation not for the faint of heart.  It’s a superb and futuristic looking car with some great features.  The display is nothing less than the exterior.  It’s 3D and has a Bluetooth system complete with full intelligence to access the web straight through your mobile phone.  The concept also has a four-wheel drive design and uses a 2.0-litre petrol turbo to power the motor as well as two electric generators and a high performance quality lithium battery.  These sources of energy make sure that the car won’t run out of power.  With concepts like these, the next car GM brings to Jessup Auto Plaza Banning lots is definitely going to be something to look for.

Aw, this was a very nice post. Taking the time and actual effort to create a top notch article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a
lot and never manage to get nearly anything done.
