Jessup Auto Plaza Celebrates Big News from Buick

November 22, 2010

In what may be some of the most exciting GM news this month, Buick has unveiled a groundbreaking vehicle and won a pretty important award in the span of about a week!

First, Buick unveiled what is arguably the nation’s first truly fuel-efficient luxury vehicle: the 2012 Buick LaCrosse eAssist. The LaCrosse eAssist will come with a hybrid system: a 2.4 liter four cylinder engine plus 115V lithium-ion battery pack. You can read more about this savvy sedan over on AutoBlog.

Then the award! Each year, NADAguides picks one stand-out vehicle, representing the best and brightest work being done in the auto industry. This year, Car of the Year for 2011 from NADAguides is none other than the Buick Regal. In addition to recognizing the Regal’s blend of economy, sophistication, styling, design, fuel ratings, and cost, NADA went on to call the Regal “fit for a king” and “revolutionizing.” You can read their full announcement here.
