Chevy Cruze brings Mid-Size Presence to Compact Fuel Economy

October 31, 2010

Jessup Auto Plaza is very excited about the new Chevy Cruze. This new compact sedan (which replaces the Cobalt) is expected to launch Chevy into a highly competitive position among compact, fuel-efficient cars. Not just because it’s small and gets great mileage: but because it’s a better driving experience than compact drivers are used to.

The Cruze brings the presence of a mid-size sedan into the compact segment. What does that mean?

  • A roomy cabin and spacious trunk (there’s actually more cabin and trunk space in the Cruze than in either the Corolla or Civic).
  • Upscale features you expect to find in pricier vehicles (e.g. 9-speaker Pioneer audio, Bluetooth for phone, digital navigation system, 18-inch aluminum wheels, and more).
  • Segment-leading safety: worldwide, the Cruze earns top safety marks wherever it’s introduced. It also comes standard with 10 airbags (as opposed to the 6 found in the Corolla and Civic).
  • Impressive fuel economy: up to 40 mpg. Official numbers by trim level have yet to be released.
  • Fun to drive. From the interior quality to the exterior style, the Cruze is a car you can feel good about. And its starting MSRP is $16,275-$21,975.

What’s not to love? The Cruze will soon be available at Jessup Auto Plaza, your Cathedral City Chevrolet dealership. Whether you’re from La Quinta, Indio, Hemet, or Yucaipa – Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Banning, Beaumont, or anywhere else in the Coachella Valley, we invite you to be part of our extended automotive family. Stop on by!
