“Driven” Calls CTS Coupe a “Tour de force” of an “Actual sports coupe”

July 27, 2010

The Cadillac CTS has been a fantastically well-received sedan since its redesign just a couple years ago, and things keep getting better. For 2011, we get a sports coupe variant of the high-class badge, and it’s already turning heads among auto critics.

Reilly Brennan, Editor-in-Chief for AOL Autos took the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe for a drive and reported back on what he experienced. The conclusion is a good one. Here’s what Brennan had to say on some of the vehicle’s key aspects:

  • Style/design: “The CTS Coupe is arguably GM’s most beautiful production car…it’s quite a car to behold from any angle, visually worth every bit of the $38,900 starting price.”
  • Interior/amenities: “The Coupe, like the sedan, is awash with premium touches like top-stitched leather and Cadillac’s innovative…navigation system…It’s quite impressive.”
  • Performance/handling: “Getting out onto the roads, the vehicle reveals itself as an actual sports coupe…The car is incredibly fun.”
