The Good Commute, Part 2: Chevy Winners

April 21, 2010

Our last post highlighted the Buick Enclave’s honor as a Top Pick for Commuters by the travel gurus at AAA. But the Enclave wasn’t the only GM vehicle to make the cut. Its cousins in the Chevrolet branch of the GM family tree also performed very well when put up to the AAA test.

  • 2010 Chevrolet Malibu made the Top 10 for its dual strengths of style and performance. Writes AAA, “The cabin is nicely finished and roomy, both in the front and rear, making it a good choice for carpooling.”

  • 2010 Chevrolet Corvette was honored as a “Commuter Vehicle Offering Efficiency and More.” AAA notes that when driven “appropriately,” the Corvette’s fuel economy is a competent 26 mpg highway. Plus, they add, “Who says the drive to work has to be boring?” Our thoughts exactly.
