Chevrolet Wins 3 of 10 Spots In “Top 10 Family Cars” for 2010

February 21, 2010

As a long time Cathedral City GM dealership that’s family-run and serves families throughout the Coachella Valley, we are proud to announce that several of our vehicles made KBB.com’s “2010 Top 10 Family Cars” list.

KBB.com is run by Kelly Blue Book, the industry’s leading (and most trusted) automotive expert. To narrow down the many family vehicles on the market, they looked at everything from fuel economy and space/versatility to safety and kid-friendliness. Of the top 10, three are from Chevrolet:

  • 2010 Chevrolet SuburbanChevy’s 9-passenger full size SUV with unparalleled hauling capacity, impressive cargo capacity (45.8 cubic feet with seats up), and a wide range of people-pleasing features and amenities.
  • 2010 Chevrolet EquinoxChevy’s stellar crossover SUV, which KBB says “stands out from the crowd” for its perfect blend of form and function. High end features and design pair with class-leading fuel economy (32 mpg0 to make the Equinox an obvious winner.
  • 2010 Chevrolet TraverseThe Traverse is the industry’s largest crossover, yet delivers better fuel economy than many smaller competitors. Excellent cargo space pairs with a low MSRP (starting at $29,999) to make the Traverse a good value for families.
